David was born in Little Falls, N. Y., September 10, 1849, and died at her home in Lake Odessa, June 1, 916, aged 67 years, eight months and nine days. She was married September 25, 1875 to Louis A. Olry, who died September 12, 1906. On September 14, 1908, she was again united in marriage, this time to Alpha David, who, with her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Vanderlip of Grand Rapids, survive her. The funeral was held at the M. E. church Sunday afternoon, June 4, and was largely attended. Rev. Laity preached the sermon. Music was furnished by a quartette composed of Mesdames Thomas Johnson and A. J. Dann and Mesars. Keith Leak and Stanley W. Dann, accompanied by Miss Myrtle Pearson. The W. C. T. U., of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body. Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery. Among those from out of town who were here in attendance at the funeral were: Mrs. Gladys Vanderlip of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. James Wallruf, Little Falls, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Foley, Little Falls, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. S. F. David of Portland; Mrs. and Mrs. Alfred David, Ionia; Mrs. and Mrs. Henry David of Diamondale; Mr. and Mrs. Orris Schnobble of Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Petrie, Mrs. and Mrs. Ed Guilford of Mulliken; Mrs. and Mrs. C. Petrie and family, Mr. Ray Petrie, Mr. and Mrs. George Petrie, all of Sunfield; and Mrs. Elsie Newberry.
