Portland Review, 14 Dec 2003

Virginia Davids, 83, of Sunfield, passed away Dec. 7, 2003 at home following a
long illness.  Mrs. Davids was born in Danby Township Aug 2, 1920 the daughter
of Clifton and Etta (Fineout) VanBuren.  She was a member of the Portland First
Baptist church and the Danby Cemetery society.

Surviving are her husband, J. Roger Davids; children, Wesley (Brenda) Davids and
Meredith (Glenn) Bowers, both of Portland; six grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; sister, Ethelyn Putney of Lyons, and several nieces and
nephews.

Services were held Dec. 10 at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, Mulliken, with Pastor
Jim Howard officiating.  Interment was in Danby Cemetery.  Pallbearers were
grandchildren, Chris Bowers, Kevin Bowers, John Davids, Amanda Mundt, Tammy
Pettit and Jennifer Voss.
