Cora L. Davis, 94, died May 15 at Country Acres Convalescent Home, Orleans. 
Mrs. Davis was born November 30, 1873 at Smyrna, the daughter of Charles and
Adelaide Joslin.  She was married to Frank R. Davis June 28, 1892.  He died in
1938.  Mrs. Davis had been a lifetime resident of Otisco township.  She was a
member of Doric Chapter #75, OES.

Survivors include two sons Ted of Battle Creek and Royal of Belding, three
sisters Mrs. Elva Tower of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Joyce Askley of Smyrna and Mrs.
Marian Wiseman of Belding, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home.  Rev.
Wilford Wood of First Congregational Church officiated.  Interment was in Smyrna
Cemetery.  Bearers were her nephews Earl Davis, Edgar Joslin, Harold Davis, R.C.
Seeley, Norman Davis and Fred Joslin.
