Elizabeth Adaline Parks was born in Lyons, Ionia county, Michigan, on October 22, 1865, and died at Ovid, December 17, 1919, at the age of 54 years. On November 2, 1885, she was united in marriage to George Davis. Three daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Floyd Stout and Mrs. Fred Clark of Ovid, and Mrs. Floyd Petty of Bay City. Mrs. Davis spent her whole life in Lyons with the exception of the last fifteen years she has resided in Ovid. For months she has been a patient sufferer with a cancer, and death relieved her long suffering. She was a kind and devoted wife and mother, and besides her husband and three daughters, leaves a brother, Darwin Parks, of Pewamo and three grandsons, who with other relatives and many friends mourn her demise. – Ovid Register.
