The Hastings Reminder, September 1999

Hildred A. Davis, age 98, of Lake Odessa, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, 
September 7, 1999.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey T. Davis; her parents, 
Charles and Nettie (Bishop) Lapo; her sister, Veda Blickenstaff; her brother, 
Claire Lapo; and her nieces, Janette Allison and Delora McWhorter.  Mrs. Davis 
is survived by her sister, Opal Dodge; her nephew, Charles Dodge; and several 
great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 9, 1999 at Koops Funeral 
Chapel, Lake Odessa.  Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.  Memorial contributions 
may be made to the Central United Methodist Church or Lakewood Community 
Ambulance.
