Ionia County News, 14 Feb 1952

Mrs. Ruby A. Davis, 64, Belding, died Monday at her home at 310 High St., 
following a heart attack.  She had been ill for about a week.  Mrs. Davis was 
born June 28, 1888, in Oakfield township, Kent County, but had been a resident 
of Belding for the past 48 years.  On Sept. 21, 1923, she married L.V. Davis, 
who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nova Sickles of Pontiac; four sisters, 
Mrs. Pearl Petersen, of Greenville, Mrs. Harry Conant of Cedar Springs, Mrs. 
Anthony Boven of Holland and Mrs. Byron Moore of Belding.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Fales-Huffman 
Chapel.  Rev. Lester Clough of the Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial 
will be in River Ridge Cemetery.
