Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Sep 1998

LaDonna D. Davis, 74, of Branch, passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at her
residence.  LaDonna Miller was born July 17, 1924, in Grand Rapids, the daughter
of Adoulphus and Doris (Reese) Miller.  She grew up in Ionia, where she attended
and graduated form Ionia High School in 1941.  LaDonna was married March 19,
1949, to Floyd Davis and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1998.  She was a
past member of the Custer VFW Gold Bar Post Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving Mrs. Davis are two daughters, Lynette (Robert) Rewitzer of Brandon,
Fla., and Suzanne M. Davis (Dennis Gum) of Branch; two sisters, Joyce Burch of
Custer, and Carolyn Stephens of Lansing; two step-sisters, Doris (Fred) Pottruff
of Fountain, and Barb (Allen) Smith of Sheridan; one step-sister-in-law, Marget
Nelson of Seattle, Wash.; granddaughters, Melissa Stoevsand, Brandi (Johnny)
Walters, and Michelle and Stephanie Rewitzer; one great-granddaughter, Savannah
Walters; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services for Mrs. LaDonna Davis were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1998,
at Bachelor Cemetery in Sheridan Township with the Rev. Norman Letsinger
officiating.  Interment to follow.
