The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 11, 1931
William Davis, 54, native of Eason township but a former resident of Lansing 
and recently a resident of Pewamo, died in the Community hospital Friday 
morning.  He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Davis, Easton 
residents for years.  The funeral services will be held from the Stebbins 
funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Dr. Paul L. Stewart in 
charge.  Burial will be in Easton cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Florence Davis; three children, Mrs. Clara 
Pennington, Miss Mildred Davis and Lawrence Davis, all of Pewamo, sisters Mrs. 
Jane Phillips, Mrs. Etta Pratt, Mrs. A. G. Smith, Mrs. Minnie McKinney, all of 
Ionia, and a brother, Charles, of Ionia.
