The Ionia Standard, 15 March 1900

Elias H. Davis, brother-in-law of Mrs. E. P. Kelsey, died March 8, of heart
failure. Deceased was 70 years of age. The funeral was conducted, Saturday, by
Rev. W. H. Thomas, and She remains taken to Avon, New York, for interment.

Mr. Davis died at his home just north of this place last week. The funeral was
held from the house on Friday   afternoon. Rev. W. H. Thomas, of Ionia,
officiated.
