Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Feb 2010

Frederick Michael Davis, aged 44, of Lansing, passed away Feb. 3, 2010.  He was
born July 19, 1965 in Ionia, the son of John and Patricia (Mills) Davis.  He
graduated from Ionia High School in 1982 and also from Michigan Career Technical
Institute.  Frederick was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was employed by
Meijer’s Thrifty Acres in Ionia and Lansing.

Frederick is survived by his mother Patricia Davis of Muir; Fiancée Cynthia
Bruch of Lansing; son of his heart Fred Baldwin III of Lansing; brothers Rick
(Gail) Davis of Gowen, Jim (Cheryl) Davis of Ionia, Stan (Kelly) Davis of Carson
City and Joe (Misty) of Lowell; sisters Michalean Stains of Muir, Collean (Ed)
Niles of Ionia, Kathy (Don) Champlin of Muir and Char (Stan) Hemminger of Muir
and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces-and-nephews.  He was preceded in death
by his father John March 19, 2009, 1 brother John, one brother-in-law Darrell
and one nephew David Stains.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., Feb. 13, 2010 at St. Stephen’s
Lutherans Church with Rev. Gary Bunge officiating.  Funeral arrangements by Lake
Funeral Home in Ionia.  In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions
to the Food Pantry of Eastern Ionia County.
