Claudine O. Davis, 81, 618 Kiddville St., Belding, died Saturday, July 23, 
1994, at United Memorial Hospital, Greenville.  She was born Sept. 15, 1912, in 
Wyman, the daughter of Earl and Emma Scott Edmonds.  She was employed for 31 
years by the former Jolly Kids Clothing Manufacturers in Belding.

She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty and Charles 
Richmond, Belding, Evelyn and Jim Clark, Weidman, Violet (Pansy) Tucker and 
Viola (Vie) Nichols, both of Belding; her very special friend, Collins Miller, 
Belding; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-
grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Hubbard, Harrison; and two brothers and 
sisters-in-law, William and Dorothy Edmonds and Lester and Micky Edmonds, all 
of Belding.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Burdette and Cleo Edmonds; 
and one great-grandson, Ryan Cotter, in 1992.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, 
Belding, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in Greene 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral 
home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
