Belding Banner-News, 22 Sep 1932

The death of Mrs. Vern Davis, aged 42 years, took place at the Belding hospital
Tuesday afternoon at about 5 o’clock, following a long period of ill health, the
past few weeks of which were spent in the local hospital.  Mrs. Davis was highly
respected and loved by her neighbors and her legion of friends, both in her home
community and elsewhere, will regret to learn of her passing in death.  Funeral
services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Charles W.
Biastock, of the Baptist church, officiating.  Burial will be in Smyrna
cemetery.  Surviving are the husband, a son, Harold, and two daughters, Mrs.
Cecil Higgins and Florence Davis, both at home.
