BETTIE M. (GEE) DAVIS
Bettie M. (Gee) Davis, age 89 of Muir, passed away Oct. 17, 2016. She was born on
Feb. 1, 1927 the daughter of Robert L. and Dorothy L. (Ostrander) Gee. Bettie graduated from
Lyons High School, Class of 1945. She married Frank J. White, he preceded her in
death in 1969. Bettie went on to marry Ron Davis, he preceded her in death in 2001. She
worked at Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons.

Bettie is survived by her children, Frank J. (Mickey) White of Sears, MI., James E.
White of Muir, MI, Robert L. (Sue Ann) White of Portland, MI., step-children Kathi Dodds of
Morenci, MI and Roger Davis of Ionia, MI; brother, Henry (Betty) Gee of Ohio; sisters Beulah
(Wayne) Piercefield of Muir, MI. Alma (Richard) Hunnicutt of Carson City, MI, Emily (Harold)
Kemp of Florida, and Sandra Sprank of Ionia, MI; grandchildren Melissa White, Luke White,
Robert White II, Steven White; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Frank White and Ron Davis;
brothers Robert Gee Jr. and Joseph Gee; sister, Anna Salter; stepson; John Davis; and special
friend, Donald Sharp.

Funeral services for Bettie will be Thursday, Oct. 20, 12 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home
in Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiation. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. there will be
a visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to Lyons-Muir First Responders. Online condolences may be made at
