Rena G. Davis, 86, of Ionia, went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2004 at the 
Heartland Health Care Center in Ionia. Rena was born the daughter of George A. 
and Gertrude A. (Higgins) Gould on September 1, 1917 in Ionia.

She graduated from the Ionia High School in 1935 and she attended Central 
Michigan University in 1936. Rena managed Hilers Ladies Department Store and 
she also managed Gittleman's Ladies Apparel. She was a lifelong member of the 
First Christian Church in Ionia.

She is survived by three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Davis; two daughters, Sylvia 
Jameson and Marsha Nierenberger; and one son, Raymond R. Jameson Jr.

In accordance with Rena's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be 
no funeral service or visitation. Interment will take place in the spring at 
the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia. Memorial contributions can be made in 
care of the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, 220 Rich St., Ionia 
for the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.
