DAVIS, CHARLES L.:
   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, TUESDAY, JANUARY 16, 1962:  "CHARLES L. DAVIS
- Funeral service will be held at Stone-Kauffman funeral home Friday at 1 p.m.,
for Charles L. Davis, 89,  former Easton township resident who died Monday
morning at Ionia Rest home where he had lived for the past several years.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth M. Lapham of Clearwater, Fla.; four
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gertrude
Thomas of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Dorethea Donet of Riverside, Calif.
   MONDAY, JANUARY 22, 1962:  Deaths - Charles L. Davis - Funeral service was
conducted Friday afternoon for Charles L. Davis, 89, former Easton township
resident who died Monday.  The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of First Christian
church, officiated and interment was at Easton cemetery.
   Bearers were Wayne Smith, Peter Arnell, Lawrence Davis, Joseph Vittick, Floyd
Monks and Millard Mongerson.
   Out of town persons attending were Mrs Ruth Lapham of Clearwater Beach, Fla.;
Mrs. Glen Peterson and Mr and Mrs Millard Mongerson of Grand Rapids; Mr and Mrs
Joel Cooper of Charlotte, Mr and Mrs Peter Anrell of Lansing, Lawrence Davis of
South Branch, Mr and Mrs Joseph Vittick of Dearborn, Richard Thomas and Mrs
Donald Buhler of Kalamazoo."
