The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 31, 1974
Nellie J. Davis, 72, of rural Howard City died at Kelsey Memorial hospital 
Tuesday.  She is a sister of Mrs. Gladys Ogden of Ionia.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roscoe Johnson of Howard City; two sisters, 
Mrs. Lillian Speckin of Lansing and Mrs. Ogden; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Youngman funeral home at 
Lakeview.  Interment will be at the Amble cemetery.  Officiating at services 
will be Rev. Nolan Williams of Easton United Methodist church, near Ionia.
