Suffering a heart attack John Henry Dawson, 77, a native of Whitehall, died 
Saturday at the home of Lemuel Tower in Belding where he made his home since 
1912.

He was employed by the Belding-Hall refrigerator company and for the Dort Motor 
Car company in Belding and Kalamazoo.  He was a former member of the Belding 
band, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 50 of Grand Rapids, and the 
Legion of Moose No. 108.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. H. S. Ellis 
officiating.  Burial was at Riverridge cemetery.
