      Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

              RETA J. DAWSON

Died Thursday October 15, 1987-age 55 at Ionia Hospital.
Born February 28, 1932 at Belding, daughter of Claude & Clara Johnson.
She owned a ceramics shop, "Reta's Pots and Nots" in ionia & worked part time 
for Bonnie's Hallmark, Ionia.
Surviving are her husband,Phil, whom she married July 22, 1950 in Belding, 
daughter Glenda Dawson, Atlanta,GA; two sons, Steven & Mark, both of Ionia; a 
sister, Ellen Lake, Belding a brother, Jack Johnson,Lansing, two granddaughters 
& a great-granddaughter. 
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac.
Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
