Irene E. Dawson, age 95, of Saranac, passed away May 17, 2015, in Lowell.  She
was born Nov. 3, 1919, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Fred and Mable
(Svoboda) Mott.  Irene married Jack Dawson March 30, 1946.  He preceded her in
death in 1990.

She was a member of Saranac American Legion Auxiliary and attended Shiloh
Community Church.  Irene was an avid listener to Dr. David Jeremiah, Pastor Joel
Osteen and Dr. Charles Stanley every Sunday morning.  She also enjoyed Bible
studies with Margaret Chadwick.

Irene is survived by her sons, Allen Dawson and Teresa of Saranac and Craig
(Jean) Dawson of Florida; grandchildren, Rick (Kari) Dawson of Florida, Tara
(Rich) Mutschler of Alto and Troy Dawson of Florida; great grandchildren,
Zachary, Kailee, Emma Beth, Logan Kirk, Tenley, Shelby, Avry and Ramsy and one
cousin Leota.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Lake Funeral
Home in Saranac with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment Saranac
Cemetery.  Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until time of
services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Saranac
Fire Department.
