Lester C. Dawson, aged 91, of Clarksville, passed away January 11, 2007.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes’ children, Wilma Bennett, Fred 
Dawson; great grandson, Travis Dawson and daughter-in-law, Gale Dawson; he is 
survived by his children, Rev. Bernard Dawson of Cincinnati, Virginia (Rod) 
Fuller of Ionia, Ken (Diane) Dawson of Lady Lake, Fla., Norm (Donna) Dawson of 
Clarksville, Liz (Marvin) Blough of Clarksville; son-in-law, Jerry Bennett; 
daughter-in-law, Patricia Dawson; 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 
and ten great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 19th at the Lowell Church of 
the Nazarene, 201N. Washington St.  Pastor Kirk Starkweather and Pastor Mike 
Rhodabager, officiating.  Interment Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation 2 to 4 p.m. 
and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. 
Hudson, Lowell.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Lowell Church of 
the Nazarene.
