The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 29, 1947

Mrs. Lelia R. Day, 54, a lifelong resident of Berlin township, died Saturday, 
December 27, at 3:00 o’clock at the Ionia County Memorial hospital. 

Mrs. Day is survived by her husband, George, and three sons, Clifford, Howard 
and Delos; seven grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Palmer, Mrs. Edna 
Blakslee, and Mrs. Marjorie Thaiteis, all of Lansing.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the 
Myers funeral home.  The Rev. Marcius Tabor of the LeValley Methodist church 
will officiate, with interment in the Saranac cemetery.
