Her body was brought to Hubbardston, Sunday afternoon, April 21, and funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. J. W. Broxholm officiating. Interment was in the East Side cemetery. Adaline Proctor was born at Hudson, Mich., in February, 1850 and came to Walker township with her parents at the age of two years, where her girlhood was spent. October 25, 1871, she was married to Milo Day and they lived in Gratiot county until 1881 when they moved to Hubbardston where they lived continuously until advanced age caused them to spend their winters with their daughter, Mrs. Ada Parr, at Muskegon Heights. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Day has remained there continuously with the exception of a few summers spent at her home here. She is survived by two sons, Roy and Archie; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Parr of Muskegon Heights and Mrs. Elva Harris, San Bernardino, California; one grandson, Meryl Parr, of Muskegon; beside other relatives and friends.
