Ionia Daily Sentinel – 14 August 1956
Funeral services for Clyde E. Day, 80, were conducted Monday morning at 10 am 
which a Mass at St. Joseph’s church in Belding.  Mr. Day died Friday evening 
at his home in Otisco Township, following an illness of about two years.  The 
Rev. Fr. Charles E. Steves officiated and interment was in St. Joseph’s 
cemetery in Belding with arrangements in care of the Huffman Funeral Home.  
Bearers were John Krupp of Belding, Joseph Krupp of Smyrna, Everett Bowen of 
Marion and Ernest Geiger,John Geiger and Royal Davis, all of Belding.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Tim Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde 
Sullivan, Mrs. Elliot Chadwick, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hawley and Mr. and Mrs. 
Joseph Grace of Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Faber, Mrs. Loren Green, Mat Faber 
and John Faber, all of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Huizenga, Mrs. 
Richard Geigle and Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeVries, all of Grand Rapids and Mr. an 
Mrs. Roman Maloney of Lowell.
