The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, September 22, 1961
Mrs. Cleotha Day, 62, died at 10:45 Thursday night at her home at 5915 
Bartonville road.  She was born in Otisco township May 20, 1879 in the same 
house where she died.  She was a member of St. Joseph church in Belding, and 
had served as treasurer of Otisco township and as a member of the Button 
school board.

Mrs. Day was married in Miriam, November 15, 1901 to Clyde Day.  He died in 
1956.  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Freda Sullivan of Ionia; two 
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elliott Chadwick of 
Ionia.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Josephs Catholic 
church with Re.v.Fr. C. E. Steves officiating.  Burial will be at St. Joseph 
cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at Huffman funeral home in Belding Sunday at 
8 p.m.
