Deady, 86, of 320 Hillside Park, Lake Odessa, died on July 22 at a Lansing area hospital. Mr. Deady had been a resident of Lansing for 65 years before moving to Lake Odessa several years ago. He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Lansing and the Lansing Orpheus Club. He operated the Harry E. Deady Art Studio in Lansing for 50 years, retiring five years ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida M. Deady of Lake Odessa; a son, Dr. Eugene Deady of Kalamazoo; two daughters, Mrs. Leon R. (Lucreeta F.) Lynn of Lansing and Mrs. Helen Johnson of Williamston; grandchildren, Sue Lynn and Mrs. Debra Grinnell – both of Lansing, Christine Deady of St. Louis, Mo., Neil Johnson of Florida, David Johnson of Williamston, Harold Deady of California, Kay Margo Crabtree and Lois Holliman of Washington, Yvonne Hughes of California; two brothers, Emmett of Florida and Edwin of Virginia. Religious services were conducted by the Rev. Joseph Dragun, pastor of the Redeemer Lutheran Church at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment was in Deepdale Memorial Cemetery. Bearers were James Grinnell, John Deady and George Scarlett.
