Lyons Herald, 25 Apr 1901

Died at his home in the village of Lyons on Monday, April 22, Wm. Dean, aged 77 
years.  Mr. Dean had been ill for several weeks and when the end came was 
surrounded by all the members of his family.  Deceased came to Lyons in 1857 and 
continued to reside here up to his death.  The funeral was held Tuesday from his 
residence, Rev. Mr. Jewell officiating.  He is survived by his widow and four 
children, Fred, of Pewamo, Edward, of Cleveland, Frank and Mrs. Amon Stone.
