Rollo C. Dean, 84,, of Fenwick, formerly of Stanton, died Thursday, December 4, 
2003 at Metron of Greenville.  

He was born December 13, 1918 in Ionia, the son of James K. and Dora Cowles J. 
Dean.  He married Bernice M. Wells on July 3, 1946 in Bryan, Ohio.  

Mr. Dean was a longtime resident of the Stanton and Sheridan areas.  He was a 
U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from the maintenance department 
at Sheridan Community Hospital.  

He was preceded in death b his wife, Bernice M. Dean, on November 8, 2002.  He 
is survived by stepdaughter and her husband, Judy and Herb Olson of Grand 
Rapids; five step-grandchildren, Doug and Frances Badder of Fenwick, Mark 
Olson, Julie Olson, both of Grand Rapids, Tammy and Sam Lafada of Canton, Dawn 
Ryes of Grand Rapids; nine step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Emma J. Loding 
of Greenville.  

In accordance with Mr. Dean’s wishes, there will be no funeral services or 
visitation.  Cremation has already taken place.  The family is being served by 
Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan.
