Saranac - Harold T. Dean, 72, of Saranac died September 9, 1995 in Grand Rapids.
 He was born February 12, 1923 in Ionia.  He went on to marry Mary Magee July
26, 1947, in Ionia.  Dean was a World War II veteran of the Navy.  He was a life
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sheridan Post.

He is survived by sons: Larry (Sharon) Dean, of Saranac and Greg (Joyce) Dean,
of Ionia; daughter Shirline (Klaus) Baeger, of Ionia; brothers: Roger Dean of
Mecosta, Glen (Mary) Dean of Arizona and Wayne (Betsey) Dean, of Haslett;
sisters: Myrtle Miller, of Arizona and Dorothy (Ed) Parks, of Mecosta; seven
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife
and three brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
 Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer will be officiating.  Interment will be in Saranac
Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Monday from 2
p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
