Lake Odessa Times - October 30, 1907

ALFONZO J. DEAN

We were unable to secure the obituary notice of Alfonzo J. Dean in time for 
publication last week, but it appears herewith: 

Alfonzo J.Dean was born in the township of Berlin, Ionia Co., June 3, 1818, died 
Oct.30, 1907, age fifty nine years.

October 1871 he was married to Miss Flora Thomas. In 1878 he moved his family to 
Odessa township and settled on the farm where h e resided until his death.

A wife, one daughter and four grandchildren are left to mourn. One daughter died 
seven years ago. Mr.Dean was a good neighbor, a kind husband and father. He will 
be missed int he home and neighborhood.

The services were held at the home by the Rev. A.E.North, the house was filled 
with neighbors and friends. Mrs.Dean has the sympathy of her many friends.
