The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, February 1, 1917
Leah Dean, aged 18 years, wife of George Dean, of Berlin township, died at the 
home Wednesday noon.  Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1 
o’clock Friday, and at the M. E. church north of Tremayne’s Corners at 1:30.  
Burial will be in the Letts cemetery.  Deceased was a daughter of Wm. Grummett 
of Easton township and besides her parents and husband is survived by two 
brothers, James and J. C. Grummett, the latter of whom arrived at noon today 
from Ft. Wayne, being a member of Co. E.
