Ionia Daily Standard, 13 & 16 May 1895

Muir, May 13. – Mrs. Jane Dean, who was so badly burned two weeks ago by
upsetting a lamp in her lap, died last night at midnight, at her home on
Railroad street.  Since the accident her sufferings have been almost too great
to be endured, and death was welcomed as the end of her trouble.  She leaves one
son, who lives with his family at Sheridan, but who has been with her through
all of her sickness.

Mrs. Jane Dean was buried from her late residence, Monday afternoon, Rev. George
Ransom officiating.  Interment on North Plains.
