She had been ill for several years, but a fall three weeks ago in which she broke her hip while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Don Harrington, was the cause of her death. She had spent some time at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Whitscell, before going to Greenville. She was born in Eureka, Montcalm county, May 3, 1862, the daughter of John and Mary Woodworth, and lived all her life in Montcalm and Ionia counties. She married George Dean December 25, 1884. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Roy Whitscell of Ionia and Mrs. Don Harrington of Greenville and four sons, Alger and John of Lansing, James of Lake Odessa and George of Ionia. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, an aged brother, Darwin Woodworth, of Oakland, Calif. Funeral services will be held at the Brown funeral home at Greenville Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Otisco cemetery.
