Mrs. Farley Deatsman, 63, died at her home in Sebewa township Tuesday evening, 
following a long illness that had kept her confined to her bed for the past 
several months.  Funeral services were held from the home this afternoon with 
burial in the Danby cemetery.

Mrs. Deatsman was born in Wayne county and when seven years of age came to 
Sebewa Corners with her parents, Frederick and Mary Erdman.  Forty years ago 
the 18th of last March she was united in marriage to Mr. Deatsman, who is the 
only near surviving relative.  For the past 35 years she had been a member of 
the Sebewa Methodist church, always taking an active interest in religious 
affairs.
