ELI DEATSMAN LEAVES STRICKEN ONES -------------- BELOVED WOMAN DIES AFTER STRUGGLING WITH TYPHOID. LEAVES HUSBAND ILL WITH DISEASE. FUNERAL FRIDAY. -------------- The sad news passed from mouth to mouth Wednesday morning of the death of Mrs. Eli Deatsman living west of town. A few weeks ago word was received that Mrs. Deatsman had typhoid fever and after another week that the husband had been stricken also. Mr. Deatsman is still very ill and the funeral will be held at the home of her brother Fred Yager, in town this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Deatsman was a regular attendant at the Congregational church and was one of th ladies quartette of the union services last summer. She was of a loving disposition and much beloved in return.
