Marie C. (Russman) DeBaldo, 72, of Portland, died on Sept 21, 2008 as a result
of an automobile accident.  She was born Jan. 27, 1936 in Dallas, Texas the
daughter of Leo and Isabel (Schneider) Russman.  She was a graduate of St.
Patrick High School and Michigan State University.

She was a former secondary teacher in New York, and was a woman of deep faith
and love for her family and community.  Marie was an avid sports fan especially
cheering on both St. Patrick and M.S.U.  She married Paul DeBaldo Sr. on April
27, 1957 and together they adopted and raised two beautiful sons.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Isabel Russman.  She is
survived by her sons, Paul Jr. (Kristin) DeBaldo and David (fiancée Crystal)
DeBaldo and her precious grandsons, Quinn and Dylan.  Marie was the sister to:
Joseph (Peggy) Russman, John (Mary) Russman, Jim (Lynda) Russman, Janie
Schrauben, Fritz (Anne) Russman, Kathie (Don) Chamberlain, and Tom (Kathy)
Russman.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. Troy Nevins on Sept 26 at St.
Patrick Catholic Church, Portland,  Rite of Committal followed at Sunset
Memorial Gardens, Ionia.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman
Funeral Home, Portland.
