The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 26, 1961

Dee Decker, 65, died Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. 
and Mrs. Ervin Krebs, 1124 Gordon avenue, Lansing.  He was born April 26, 
1896, the son of Fred and Esther Decker.

Mr. Decker retired in June 1960 as supervisor of the furniture department at 
Michigan Reformatory, a position he held 26 years.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of Morrison Lake Gardens; a son, Wendall of 
Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Ervin Krebs of Lansing; four grandchildren; his 
mother, Mrs. Esther Decker of Portland, and one sister, Mrs. Leona Burns of 
Detroit.

Funeral service will be at Morris funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with the 
Rev. Howard Bull and Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating.  Interment will be at 
Saranac cemetery.
