Ionia County News, 6 May 1926

George H. Decker, 71, native of Portland, died at Chicago recently, following a
stroke of apoplexy.  He was one of the pioneer railroad men in this county and
well known and at the time of his death was in the offices of the Wabash
Railroad company.  His body was shipped to Portland for interment.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Portland Cemetery.]
