Lake Odessa Wave  Friday February 9, 1900

Lawrence, the 5 year-old son of Mr and Mrs Levi Deeg, living south of town,, 
across the lake, died Tuesday after a short illness with measles. The child was 
about recovered from the measles when he took cold and the malady went to the 
brain casing death. The funeral was held yesterday from the home, and the remains 
interred in the Lakeside cemetery.
