Belding Banner – Thursday, 28 July 1910
Mrs. W. W. DeGeer died last Thursday morning at her home in Holly, Mich., aged 
77 years.  Mrs. DeGeer will be remembered by a few of the old residents as the 
wife of Rev. W. W. DeGeer, who was pastor of the Christian (now 
Congregational) church of this city something over 25 years ago.  She was also 
the mother of Mrs. C. R. Cowdin a former resident here, now of Detroit.  She 
has been in gradually failing health since about January 1st from valvular 
heart trouble with dropsy as a contributory cause during the later period.
