Sentinel-Std. - Monday, April 19, 1954

John A. DeGraff, 86, of Lyons, died Saturday, April 17, at 8:40 p.m. at the Eckert 
Nursing Home, where he has been a patient for the past two weeks.

He was born August 20, 1867 in the Netherlands and came to the United States  in 
1912 and has made his home in Lyons for the past 20 years where he had been a 
painter and decorator. His wife, Marie, died in the Netherlands in 1904.

A son and daughter in the Netherlands survive him.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the SS. Peter and

Paul church with the Rev. Fr. John S. Fons officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mr. DeGraff reposes at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir where Rosary will be 
recited Monday evening at 7:30.
