Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Dec 1955

Mrs. Blanche E. DeHart, 73, of 474 East Lincoln avenue died Tuesday evening at
Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for one day.  Mrs.
DeHart was born in Orange township August 23, 1882, the daughter of Hiram and
Sara Templer Stanton.  She married Harvey DeHart March 11, 1903, and they had
made their home in Ionia since that time.  Mr. DeHart preceded her in death
October 25, 1955.  She was a member of the First Baptist church of Ionia and the
Good Cheer club.

Surviving are a son, Richard, of Grand Rapids; a daughter Mrs. Sylvia Frase, of
Cedar Lake; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs.
Alzina Chadwick of Saranac.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the
Rev. W.W. Pixley officiating.  Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.
