DeHart, 474 East Lincoln Ave., died at his home suddenly Tuesday morning, October 25. He was born in Ferris township, Montcalm county, January 7, 1880. He was married to Blanche Stanton in Ionia, March 11, 1903, and they have lived in Ionia fifty-two years. Mr. DeHart was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Blanche, one son, Richard of Grand Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Frase, of Cedar Lake; four grand children,, one great grandson; two brothers, Clarence of South Ionia and Ernest of Houghton; one sister, Mrs. Mae Mindel of Remus. Rev. W. W. Pixley will officiate at the funeral service which will be from Myers Funeral Home at two o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial is Tuttle cemetery. De Hart, 75, of 474 East Lincoln avenue died Tuesday morning at his home after several months illness. Mr. De Hart was born January 7, 1880 in Ferris township, Montcalm county, the son of Mr. and Ms. Seneca De Hart. He was married November 11, 1903 and had since resided in Ionia. He was a carpenter for many years and a member of the First Baptist church. Survivors are his wife, Blanche; one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Frase of Cedar Lake; one son, Richard of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers, Clarence of South Ionia and Ernest of Holton and one sister, Mrs. Mae Mindel of Remus. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Myers funeral home. The Rev. W. W. Pixley will officiate and interment will be at Tuttle cemetery.
