The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 4, 1964
Mrs. Adah B. DeHart, 78, of 513 Morse Street died Monday evening following an 
illness of two years.  She was born in Montcalm county January 3, 1886, the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Umbenhour, and had resided in Ionia the past 
45 years.  She was married in 1906 to Harry DeHart who died in 1959.  Mrs. 
DeHart was a former member of the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by a son, Arza DeHart of long Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Reva 
Clements of Brooklyn, New York; 11 grand and four great-grandchildren; a 
sister, Mrs. Hattie Dunlap of Sheridan and a brother, Jack Umbenhour.  Funeral 
service will be at Boynton funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. followed by 
interment in the family lot at Balcom cemetery.
