Dehn, 59, a lifelong resident of Belding, died Wednesday afternoon at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids following a brief illness. The funeral mass will be conducted at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning by Rev. Charles Steve’s at St. Joseph’s church here with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited there at 8 o’clock Friday evening. He is survived by his widow, Margaret; three sons, William, Donald and Jack; one daughter, Diane; two brothers, Arthur and Sylvester, and one sister, Mrs. Helena Ostrander and three grandchildren, all of Belding. For 35 years he was a partner with his brothers in Dehn Bros. Tavern; retiring upon the sale of the business two months ago. He served in the U.S. Army with the American Expeditionary Forces in France in World War I, and has always been a member of St. Joseph’s parish here. He was also a member of the local American Legion Club.
