                                    WILLIAM W. DEITZ

William Dietz, 62, of 315 Leonard St., passed away at 1:30 a.m. Monday after a 
heart attack and a several month period of ill health.

He was born in Lakeview April 16, 1898 the son of Martin and Fannie Deitz and 
was married to Alice Mortensen, December 5. 1922 at Stanton. He came here from 
McBride and operated his own barber shop for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Gerald of Turk Lake and gordon of Holt; 
six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs.Charles (Clara) Christiansen of this 
city, and Mrs.William (Mary) Pretzel of Ionia; one half-sister, Mrs.Ernest 
(Kate) Anderson who lives in Wisconsin and one half-brother, Earl Robinson, 
Toledo, Ohio.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 o'clock at Fitzjohn Funeral Home 
with Rev. H.S.Ellis officiating and burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
