FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOHN DEKWAK WILL BE SATURDAY
Mr. DeKwak Dies Following Brief Attack of Pneumonia At Sister’s Home

After an extremely brief illness George DeKwack, 68, died Tuesday evening at 
the home of his sister, Mrs. George Dansforth of pneumonia.  He had been 
living alone since the death of his wife and while making a chance call upon 
his sister last Saturday she discovered him to be ill and urged him to remain 
at her home.  After he had decided to remain he seemed to succumb rapidly.

He has been married twice, his first wife being Mrs. Eva Haight, and the 
second Mrs. Sophia Schaufele-Cutler.  His only survivors are his sister, Mrs. 
Dansforth, two nieces and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Episcopal Church Saturday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. W. F. Kendrick will officiate and interment will 
be in Highland Park cemetery.
