Ionia Sentinel - Thursday, March 17, 1892

Mrs. Eva DeQuack, wife of John DeQuack, died last Wednesday, aged 19 years. 
Her funeral was attended from the M.E. church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. 
It was only five weeks ago today that John DeQuack and Eva Haight were 
married. Two weeks ago Mrs. DeQuack was taken with influenza and on the 
following day paralysis of the muscles of the throat set in. Her nervous 
system became depressed and she sank rapidly.
