Richard Delap an inmate of the county house died there last night at the age 
of 77 years, following a stroke of paralysis which occurred several days ago.  
Delap was sent to the county house from Ionia city about five years ago, and 
so far as known he has no relatives.  Although closely questioned many times 
during his residence there no facts relating to his early life or his family 
were ever found out.  It is doubtful if Delap was his correct name.  No one 
ever knew where he came from and none of those who might have known him years 
ago will ever know where he went or where he died.
