Her condition was so serious when her husband died that it was thought advisable not to inform her of his death, his remains being quietly taken from the home to Bradt’s undertaking rooms in Lyons. They had one daughter, whose life was also despaired of for a time, but it is now thought that she will survive. Last year the family came into possession of the old Goodwin 80-acre farm, five miles northeast of Muir, and while they were moving in the house was totally destroyed by fire, since which time they have occupied temporary quarters on the place in anticipation of the new house they were preparing to build. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried in Lyons Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/d/delaverg31822nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
