Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 7 Jan 1937

The death of Mrs. Frances L. Deline, 76, occurred on Wednesday evening, January
6, at 6 o’clock at her home on Yeomans street.

Mrs. Deline was born December 1, 1860, in Ithaca, N.Y.  When she was eight years
old, she moved to Ionia with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Cavanaugh.  In
1881, she married Charles Deline at the Methodist church.  They started
housekeeping in the house on Yeomans street in which she was living at the time
of her death.  Her husband died in 1927.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Walter of Flint and Harvey of Ionia, and two
brothers, Edward Cavanaugh of Detroit and Fred Cavanaugh of Ionia.  Two other
children preceded her in death, Russell in 1909 and Marian in 1918.

Funeral services will be held at the home on Yeomans street Saturday afternoon,
January 9 at 2:30 o’clock.  Rev. A.C. DeVries will officiate.  Burial will be in
Highland Park cemetery.
